Erika Calcagno, MHC-LP, specializes in helping individuals manage the impact of chronic illness/pain, trauma, anxiety, and invisible disabilities on daily life and relationships, as well as focusing on women's health and well-being. She believes that our past experiences shape our physical, emotional, and mental health. Erika takes a trauma-informed, person-centered, holistic approach, while drawing from acceptance commitment therapy (ACT), attachment theory, and existentialism to empower clients on their healing journeys. She strives to create a supportive, non-judgmental space for self-discovery, helping clients develop strategies for stress relief and enhanced well-being. With empathy and gentle challenging, Erika is committed to guiding individuals toward self-understanding and personal growth.
Erika received her Bachelor’s in Psychology at the University of Arizona and her Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Pace University. She currently sees clients virtually in NY state.
